Dr Jonathan Hobson
Dr Jonathan Hobson is a an Associate Professor of Social Sciences and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. He is a political sociologist by training and has worked extensively across the social sciences including in criminology and criminal justice. Jon is an experienced research team leader, with wide knowledge of research design and delivery, particularly in process and outcome evaluations. His own areas of expertise include Restorative Justice, community and government programs, housing and support, and international crimes and responses.

Dr Daniel Ash
Dr Daniel Ash is an Associate Professor of police practice. He is a forensic criminologist with 20 years experience as a police officer before entering academia, for a large part of that time delivering research projects for police forces. His areas of expertise include research design, practice & policy, interdisciplinary police work, domestic violence, and youth crime. Daniel is an expert in innovative methodologies and their application to different settings, including the use of mathematical theory and data science for criminological research.
